Clarity Helps You See Things Differently

Our unique question types and second chance opportunities allow us to monitor students' choices and behaviors as they read. Each interaction provides valuable insights into students' level of involvement, learning needs, and their reading skills and capabilities. More simply, Clarity illuminates who your students are as readers.

Ensure Reading Growth

Our primary focus is on fostering student growth. We are dedicated to cultivating stronger readers who can be successful in rigorous academic environments and in life. We are not fixated on teaching how to take a multiple choice test. Rather, we care deeply about teaching students how to master deep comprehension reading skills. When mastery is achieved, scores improve. Grades improve. School-wide Culture improves.

Clarity Data Dashboards

Clarity delivers clear and easy to read data dashboards for students, teachers, parents, and administrators. Timely, dependable data makes it easy for teachers to facilitate meaningful discussions about reading. And while teachers design and facilitate lessons based on Clarity Reading Data, our adaptive platform creates unique learning paths for each student, delivering extra reading support teachers need to ensure students are growing at an accelerated rate.

So Many Ways to View Student Data

Our data tools make it easy for teachers and administrators to filter reports by grade, class, teacher, and performance levels. Easily monitor English language learners, identify groups of students who need more intervention, and quickly see how many students are reading at grade-level, below grade-level, and reading above grade-level.

Reclassify ELLs with Clarity Reading Data and Writing Insights Data

Our Reading and Writing assessments are used as a local assessment to reclassify and monitor English language learners. Too often, local assessments rely on a multiple-choice reading program. These programs do not assess skills nor do they mirror state mandated language exams. Literacy Chops reports on reading comprehension skills, reading grade level, Lexile level, and provides a writing score from actual student writing.

Understand What is Happening

Beyond real-time reporting, Clarity Reading Data provides Weekly Performance Reports, End-of-Season Growth Reports that explain where your students started and where they ended by the end of a Season (or 12 lessons), and school/district reports that quickly identify how students at every grade level are performing across a system. This type reporting helps school leaders understand what is happening, so they can make critical decisions about reading intervention programs, curriculum, school-wide literacy goals, and professional development.

Weekly Performance Updates

Teachers stay informed with Weekly Performance Reports that provide timely snapshots of which classes are on track and which classes are falling behind. Our data is clear: the more reading practice students have the more they will grow. The simple goal is to keep students on track each week to maximize their growth.

Student Clarity

Students have access to their data through their Journey. The Journey is a student portal that offers engaging and visually appealing dashboards. Here, students can review previous Quests, revisit reading challenges and personal reading goals, and celebrate their achievements. Students can easily track their progress, reflect on their performance, and have insightful conversations with their teachers about how they are doing as readers.
